You will join the Record to Report team that is responsible for a wide range of areas including Fixed Assets, Treasury Accounting, Inter company Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Revenue Accounting and a team of regional lead accountants responsible for statutory and tax compliance along with legal entity oversight.

This is a key role in a fast-paced environment with the potential for the role to develop further with additional responsibilities in line with business requirements.

Description

In this role you will act as a subject matter expert for revenue across all Convert Group entities, supporting revenue reconciliation at monthly close process and preparation of local GAAP revenue disclosures. This involves developing a deep understanding of the various revenue streams of all entities as well as the associated accounting treatment.

The Revenue Accountant will gain exposure to Convert Group’s various reporting systems including GBI, Tableau and HANA. You are responsible for providing assurance around revenue reporting both as part of the standard close, statutory and tax cycles and also on an ad hoc basis. You will provide reporting for internal partners and also external partners such as regulatory bodies.

Leading the go-live of a significant new compliance project involving integrating multiple new systems into the existing reporting infrastructure.

Partnering with Corporate Accounting to ensure all hedging instruments are recorded correctly in advance of close as well as providing an understanding key drivers.

Responsible for the accounting and declaration of Copyright Levies for the EMEIA Region, which involves liaising with various business teams including Sales Finance, Legal & Tech Accounting.
